The San Francisco Giants celebrated their 50th Anniversary in SF on April 15, 2008 at AT&T Park. SF native Gino Cimoli
played for Brooklyn Dodgers and made the move to LA in 1958.
The New York Giants also moved to San Francisco that year.
Gino was the first batter to bat in a major league game on the West Coast, at Seals Stadium in San Francisco, on April 15, 1958. (He struck out).
