Commemorative 60th Anniversary Flight and P-51 Pilot Symposium honoring BGen Robert F. "Earthquake" Titus, USAF (Ret.)

On April 5, 1955, Capt. Titus flew the last F-51 (P-51) Mustang remaining in US Air Force inventory from El Centro, Calif. to McClellan AFB in Sacramento, Calif. On Saturday, April 18, 2015, a private ceremony and commemorative flight was held at the Petaluma Municipal Airport. Bob Titus rode in the back seat of the Santa Rosa based, dual control P-51D Mustang, "Lady Jo", owned by Daryl Bond and flown by Dan Vance.

On Sunday, April 19, 2015, a pilot symposium was held at the Petaluma Campus of the Santa Rosa Junior College. Participating on the panel were EQ Titus, Ernie Wakehouse, USAF (Ret.), Joe Peterburs, USAF (Ret.), and Jack Krout, USAF (Ret.)
