This Douglas C-133A Cargomaster (N199AB) made her final flight on Saturday, August 30, 2008.  After a 2-day journey from Anchorage, AK, she arrived at Travis AFB in Fairfield, CA. during the opening ceremonies of the 2008 Travis Air Expo.  After a water-cannon welcoming, she was placed on static display for the remainder of the Air Expo.  Her flying career with the USAF spanned the years 1957-1971.  In 1978 she was purchased by Maurice Carlson (Cargomaster Corporation) and flew heavy cargo within the state of Alaska.
Carlson donated her to the Travis Air Museum where she will reside on permanent display.
